The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will release the KCET 2026 First Round Final Seat Allotment Result on July 15, 2026. Candidates who participated in the KCET counselling process will be able to check their allotted college and branch through the official KEA counselling portal.

The Round 1 Final Seat Allotment is prepared after considering valid corrections, if any, to the provisional allotment. For most candidates, the college and branch allotted in the provisional seat allotment are expected to remain the same in the final allotment, unless changes occur due to valid corrections or updates made by KEA during the final processing.

Will My College or Branch Change in the Final Allotment?

This is one of the most common questions among KCET candidates.

In most cases, the college and branch allotted in the provisional seat allotment remain unchanged in the final Round 1 result. Since the provisional allotment is generated based on the candidate's rank, reservation category, seat availability, and options entered, only a small number of allotments change after KEA processes valid corrections.

For the vast majority of students, the final seat allotment confirms the same college and branch that appeared in the provisional allotment. However, candidates should still check the final result carefully, as KEA has the authority to make changes wherever required.
